Larry's condidtion

Things are going from bad to worse.  Larry sort of started shuting down mentally on thursday morning.  By Thursday evening we got phone call saying that his bowels had not moved sinced he got to the hospital and he was now complaining of stomach pains, the doctor wanted to do xrays on abd, but Larry refused.  Pam and I went up, they had finally got him to agree to soap enema, he had movements then through yesterday noon.  Yesterday afteroon, he agreed to a Cat Scan, they gave him contrast to swallow and instead he inhaled some in his lungs.  Now they are afaid that pneumonia is going to set in, they are giving him morphine, and antibiotics & IV's.  Pam and I was there this morining, he could not wake up, most likely did not know we where there.  His kidneys might be shutting down, so they inserted a catherer.  Who knows, Sharon and I both think that his body is shutting down.  Maybe he will be able to recover.  I will be over at Sharon's tomorrow morning.  Karen

The Dr. told Gary that the cancer was 80% gone. But he will have to have test. My echogram will be done on Augest 4. Will know more on the 12th. How is Larry doing? I hope better. Will write soon.

I have to have a echogram done and some breathing test done. He may change my inhaler after the test are done. I will know what is going on biy the 12th a august. Hope everything is OK. Talk to you later.

Marsha, got the card today, will see that it gets to Larry.  Larry is still in hospital, he won't walk, says it hurts too much. Don't have any idea how much longer they will let him stay, Taking it a day at a time. 

Friday from Hutch

Update on Larry, he will be in the hospital until Monday or Tuesday.  Then to a rehab.  Having a ton of breathing problems and is on oxygen right now, don't know if they will move him to Mennonite Maner Rehab until he gets his breathing under control.  Looks like Marsha may be getting lots of wind and rain right now, Bonnie is going over Florida.  Sharon and I will go grocery shopping in a little while.  Karen

I like the new blog page. Gary had his blood on Monday. Everything else is OK. How is Nancy doing and how do you like you days off? That is about all that is going on. Bye for now.

News from Karen

Good morning, hope you are all having a good day.  Sharon and I went to the genealogical program on Monday night, I think we both had a good time.  Sharon won the door prize, a small memento box, and she gave it to me, nice, Thank You Sharon.  Yesterday was real busy, Dudley's dad took a fall and broke 3 ribs and his collarbone, I spent 5 hours between the Clinic and hospital.  Hope you guys like the new blog look.
I will try to get Katelyns music back on, plus at the top you will see tabs for Home page, and Birthday page.
