Good pic of Sharon holding the plates that Jane Wiley gave her when the Tea Room closed down.
Sharon and the Wiley employee group got a special tour of the new rentals in the Wiley building.  Then Rita Lingg came by the next night and took her to the Wiley's dedication, where she and all the Wiley group was asked to stand up and got noticed.  Nice week for her.

Marsha, had a great idea.  She downloaded one of the photos that I put up on the last blog.  She then put it into a small, looks like a 5X7 silverish, gray frame.  The color tones blends in really nice with the black and white photo.  She set it (I believe) next to her computer on her work space.  I know we all have family photos setting around, but, for some reason having this photo, is different.
It's 2015 and we are all still here but Mom.  Lets be grateful for every day we are here.  I love you all. Karen

Today, Saturday Jan. 31 is Mom's birthday.  As I get older I tend to get more emotional. I do miss her and think of her often.  Love ya, Mom, Happy Birthday

Cute photo of Marsha and Gary, I am guessing taken in the 1980's.  Does that sound right Marsha?

Pam found this and let me scan it.

What a wonderful find.  While do some work with Ruth Filbert, I happen to find this in the 1918 Reno County Atlas.  The photo must have been taken around the summer of 1917.  In front of the house is Grandpa (with hands in pockets, just like I remembered him), standing in front of window is Beth, standing on porch is Speck (Preston) and Viola, below them are two kids ( Johnny and Vivian) then to right of them is Grandma, and she is holding Daddy (Edward).  Wow, and to think it was at the library all this time.
The house is on acreage that Grandpa owned just Northeast of Medora.
